Which to be fair kinda realstic atleast to me , he has a crush on her yet her "betrayel" and her working with wesker influnced that which made their dynamic colder with tension and suspection , in re4 og leon was more just reproaching her for working for wesker but in the same time seems like believeing the best in her like if she had her reason (which seemed like leon easy on her because he has a soft spot for her) , in re6 leon seemed almost as the way he is in re4 og , getting angry at helena because he thought she showed him that video of "ada" on purpose , and protecting "ada" from chris etc... , we as players knows what happen with ada in re4 og and re6 , but from leon pov he seems like when it comes to her he just believes what he wants to believe , clair helena ashley(remake version the og is understandable) you don't gives them a second glance yet keeps wasting years waiting for ada stops playing hard to get
