…exhaustive Memory Lane theoretical analysis and demonstration with charts? That would honestly be legendary, and a monumental personal achievement. A sick addition to your resume too! Would love that. Song’s beyond amazing. Color bars is another personal favourite. The progression leaves this elegant space for chromatic improvisation. Its continuous half tone ascension and descent are, while relatively common in ES’ arrangements, both persistently playful and pleasingly perplexing when poked and prodded. Such an underrated jam. Pretty (Ugly Before) is another one, that syncopated guitar part is so unorthodox and challenging to master, particularly when accompanying with vocals. Love your stuff man!
