Hello! Beautiful work. Can I use size 11/0 seed beads if so how many do I start off with?. I'm asking because that's all I have. I don't want to run and buy a lot of different size beads.

How long of a thread to start and do you tie a knot at one end?

Yes, tie a knot at the end of your thread, opposite to where your needle is. As far as thread length, it's really your preference. At some point you will probably need to tie it off anyways and begin with a new thread.
