Dragons! Yay! I love you guys. So comforting to know that not everyone is "on track" with the sowing. I tend to be slow with my sowing because of my last frost date. Mid-may also. I'm also new to this area, so I'm watching my microclimate and weather patterns carefully. Even making notes of where the snow melts first or where it piles up.

So what I have started doing is putting things in my phone calendar and if it’s a successional seed I put it in the calendar as a future event with an alert. What a difference latitude makes. Two weeks ago, I started planting cucumbers, spinach, romaine lettuce, and peas. A week ago-and again today-I planted two different varieties of pumpkins (I’m going to do my Halloween display this year, after a two-year hiatus). I’m not happy with the drip tubes I bought. The drippers are nine inches apart, and I’ve decided that six inches is more appropriate for peas, and a few other items I have planned. It’s really nice to have an automatic drip system, however. My strawberries are on a spry system, which is tied to the drip system. The watering last year was a drag. Two times a day during summer, equals a good tan, but does nothing for my mood.

Finally have had a chance to sit and watch this one. I lost my only Sungold tomato seedlings in the storm on Sunday, which nearly took my new half-greenhouse. I reordered seeds and got some patio tomatoes, as well so I get to join y'all in the patio tomatoes! I also love dill - I've got some growing on the windowsill in my office (need them for the Grow a Recipe With Me series for making pickled cucumbers) and can't wait to get them and my other herbs out in the garden. I have the same Cosmos as you held up there, love them so much. I made my own garden journal (I hand-bind books). Lovely video, Eli. And you'll need to get some dragon pellets for your salads, I see. Don't worry, they don't kill the dragons, just neutralize their flames so they don't burn everything in their wake. 😉
