Seeds vs seedlings - Which is Best, When?

Don’t trust germination time most of mine that say a week or two like my collards and broccoli raab started sprouting after 3 or 4 days lol my okra says 14 to 21 days and just emerged today after only a week

We have the same experience with radishes and arugula. They sprout in 3 days most of the time. I guess the advice here is "don't put your seed trays in the closet and forget about them" right? :-)
