Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Sevananda shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on learning to see the Divine Presence in every person and every situation.
Brother Sevananda points out that the more we are able to do this, the more we will meet all circumstances of life with kindness, strength, courage, and understanding - until we eventually behold God’s beauty, joy, and love behind everything in our lives.

I truly needed to hear this because I’m so discouraged waiting on God to bless me and my children. As a single mom with two children with special needs. I’m so tired of struggling to provide every month not knowing if I’m going to have my rent money is so exhausting. I find it difficult to love an individual, especially one who has leveled numerous subtle attacks against me for years. How can I love such a one? It struck me to love this individual with the internal mantra of "l love all my neighbors unconditionally including the most difficult ones" Using the word "all" has made it exponentially easier to 'love my neighbor as myself'.
