Conceptually, a brilliant look at a scientific self portrait/portrait; that creates a beautiful aesthetic. To think about something and then push further and further into understanding your relation to the things that make you who you are. Nice to see Artists, thinking about their work before it's creation, than assigning ideas after the fact.

Very thought-provoking. I have a degree in accounting and now work in the tech field. Though I am comfortable with numbers, many people are not; I can see how they could relate to visual pattern analysis far more easily than columns of numbers. Color me intrigued.

As a super right-brained person myself...who also loved TED talks and the STEM sciences....this talk was actually rather refreshing. I get her manic right-brained personality.

I'm sure that the thought crime reader developers/ DARPA will be contacting you soon - if they haven't already. No. I'll learn "who I am" the Old-fashioned way, thank you very much. I'm sure you have only benevolent intentions, but anything that you "discover" that can help the "other guys," will certainly be used by them. It's Great that you feel so open and sharing with your own personal data, but we don't all feel that way.

of course not fearing tech and using it for a positive is the futureBut as soon as it is used or seen as a tool by beings such as the DOD it also becomes a weapon.

Patterns... bla bla bla... data.... bla bla bla... more patterns... bla bla bla.... It seems like there is something cool in all this, but she is all over the place with her talk. Never finishing anything; jumping around subjects; coming back and not finishing again. It's just too frustrating to be good.
