Seeing through the eyes of another

I received an advent devotional booklet where the illustrator unpacked the story of Jesus advent on a background of black. She incorporated all the main characters of the main story in silhouette on black. But only understood the symbolism when I went through the booklet illustrations with a friend. I learned to see through the eyes of another. That is our theme.
