Seeing Yourself As Highly Favored by Jeff Arnold

Even as Mary received the good news of her being highly favored, so must we today. We serve the same God of grace and truth. "And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women." When you are BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED BY GOD, you have chosen to be obedient to God’s will and commandments and to love him. Your life has become a living example of that blessed and highly favored person. God’s Blessings and Favor are for those who are willing to be obedient to his word and keep his commandments. When the Lord Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit, He said three times that the Blessing was for the obedient. “If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments: and I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever” (John 14:15-16 KJV). Obedience is what God requires of His faith filled servants.

I've been to Juarez many times, and Mexico also. God's protective hand kept me. One thing you should read daily besides the armor of God in Eph 6:10-18 is Psalm 91. The Lord is our shepherd and though we walk in the valley of the shadow death, we shall fear no evil. Why? God protects us. The enemy needs permission before he tries to pummel us. The book of Job shows us how desperately the enemy wants to kill us. But he cannot until the father removes the hedge of protection round about us, his angels.
