Poor Marquis he just want a little recognition from Shiyi...lol My girl is clueless at this point. She doesn't understand that he has real feelings for her. I'm looking forward to them finally clearing up the misunderstandings between them so they can finally take a step forward. The GM is really clueless when it comes to her son. She really thinks that Lingyi is going to notice Lianfang if she runs the soup kitchen. This man has made it crystal clear that he doesn't have feelings for her. The GM/Lianfang refuses to see the writing on the wall. It doesn't matter what she does...Lingyi will NEVER fall for her. Unlike his mother Lingyi sees right through her innocent act. Lianfang has been scheming since she enter the manor/it has gotten her nowhere. She's still stuck on stupid. It's a good thing that Yuanniang blocked her from becoming his legal wife. Talk about living in hell.

Shiyi honey, God, how naive she is; but at the same time she is extremely smart and educated. I liked the way she forced Zhun to exercise and how she defended her decision in a well-reasoned way. Lingyi found a reason to come to his wife, he so needed her attention. But this attention was received by his son (and even a gift). He is so offended that she does not use his gift. Shiyi, be a good girl, correct yourself, show attention to your husband. The GM and Lianfang don't understand that one act in front of the public cannot change Lingyi's mind. He knows Lianfang's nature too well. He clearly showed this by expressing his opinion about her "help" during his son's illness. He doesn't want her to touch him. It's too late, he's only interested in Shiyi. He began a "chase" for his wife.

Grand Madam loves the theory of " see no evil, hear no evil" where Lianfang is concerned. Fortunately Hou Ye has good judgement when it comes to people. 😊

LOL , Lianfang had brought evil harm and shame to House of Xu the most with your continual support over Marquis's own lawful legal wife Shiyi. Shiyi who should had came first in your respect , honor and support as Marquis's lawful legal wife , dear Grand Madame! Grand Madame's prejudice favoritism had allowed Lianfang's evilness to continually harm House of Xu from very beginning! Shiyi and Marquis are definitely more forgiven than I or my husband because we had removed his mother from our lives when she had went after our son in emotional abuse when we had already given her only one more chance to change when she had treated myself wrong first two days before our wedding. We have stood together in love , loyalty and respect against test of time with over 29 years of marriage and still blessingly going on stronger as days goes by. Sadly , she had deliberately chosen not want to love nor get to know her intelligent loving grandson who has ultimately shared same interests as herself all because she didn't want any grandchildren other than her granddaughter from my hubby's first marriage. This is ultimately why she was removed from our life for our own son's emotional well-being and happiness. Since I do know how it emotionally and mentally affects children impactfully from receiving emotional negatively amongst other abuses myself as child and my husband couldn't allowed her around myself nor his own son when she has been treating us wrongfully. I am very blessed and thankful for my husband who stood by me and our son all those years ago. 🙂🥰

Yes, the GM did more harm to her family than anybody because she refused to see Lianfang's true colors. If Shiyi hadn't stepped in/control the situation with Zhun things might've ended up differently. She even tried to prevent Shiyi from helping him. If the Marquis hadn't stood his ground/let Shiyi help his son the poor boy would've still been suffering.
