I have an American lab that looks very close to this dog. Is this an English or American lab?
@judyives18324 жыл бұрын
I prefer the term, working lab or sport lab. All labs are Canadian. The breed was developed in Atlantic Canada. The British liked our Canadian dog and took a strain back to England, where they rebred it into a heavier dog. That is often called a “British” lab. The working bloodline is often called “American” but was first called the “North American” strain but somehow got shortened to just American. But all labs are actually Canadian. I have 2 “sport” or “working” labs.

Judy Ives cool! I live in the USA and have a working lab but them call them American. The English labs here are the short stock heavy ones.
