Dennis and Julie discuss joy and performance… passion is infectious. Dennis recalls fondly his father, Max Prager’s lessons and examples in life. Not achieving your God given potential will cause bitterness. If you are stuck in a situation… find a way to celebrate it. The most powerful thing you can give a person is a good example. Finding joy in life requires effort and enthusiasm matters. They reflect on Jordan Peterson living in the public eye. The importance of being a good model and passing on values. Being a good role model isn’t enough however, it also requires spoken word. Conversely a negative role model can be equally effective… and devastating. Is the influence of a bad role model more powerful than the influence of a good role model?

Airplanes need to have space between seats, there's no excuse for making humans have to travel like sardines on a can. Flying not first class is a dehumanizing experience, and his honor judge walsh agrees with me.

I hate driving. I can't wait for self driving cars to become the norm. Get in my self driving car in the morning, take a nap before work. Get back in my self driving car after a hard day's work and get in a nap before coming home and doing household duties, what could be better? Self driving vehicles will kill a lot of jobs, but it'll save lives, they won't get drunk or tired. More people, less jobs, we'll figure it out but the future is bright. Once robots take all jobs, we won't have to pay for things because people won't need compensation for their work, it'll be all done by ai. I would happily spend my days studying torah. People need to move into finding happiness and meaning in spiritual pursuits.

When Dennis said ," OH, fountain pen inks. I'd rather be swimming." I laughed so hard for some reason because they were just talking about Julie hating swimming. Too funny y'all. I could watch you all for hours. Thank you both for sharing this with us.

So I'm the polar opposite of julie, I love swimming, I know how to swim, but I can't swim more than 15 feet without stopping to catch my breath.

I think the bad does leave a lasting impression more than the good. Its true fort he analogy Dennis gave but I can see it the same in other situations like making mistakes for example. People tend to remind you of shortcomings for longer than fhey are willing to give praise for accomplishment. Growing up Catholic, I got a front row seat to the perceived virtue of suffering. If someone is in the dumps, even by their own hand, they receive unsurmountable attention albeit in the form of sympathy and charity. If you're doing well for yourself or exude a cheerful demeanor, you'll receieve attention as well but it isn't praise.. It slant-eyed judgement, backhanded compliments and comparison to those doing better. Its strange but it checks out... Humans are strange.
