A Ramadan spirituality boost with Sheikh Shafi Chowdhury: graduated from one of the UKs oldest Islamic seminaries where he read classical disciplines including Figh, Tafsir, and Hadith studies, with associated usul. Since graduating he has worked extensively within a wide range of Muslim communities as an imam and educator. He is a founding director of the City Retreat, an outreach and engagement facility based in Leicester where he runs weekly halaqas and delivers the Friday khutba.
