'Vargblod' in modern swedish translates to 'Wolf blood' in english. Maybe 'Wargblod' is a reference to Nors mythology?

Yeah it is , midgardsulven is the fenriswolf and Warg are Varg (swedish)and Wolf .But this song are more about warrior blood in the viking warriors i belive , and that is never giving up and fight until the last drop of blood to come to valhalla .

Y'all peeps cant figure it has a deeper meaning than the naming? If you read the lyrics it speaks of hybris and revenge. Nothing at all related to either vikings or wolves, though the wolf pack part could be a metaphor. For all I care it could be about Israel, Syria, Kiev or whatever. But thats not the point. It's more about hybris than anything else.

@@PantsuMann Interesting interpretation. I can't agree because I don't see where you get hybris and revenge from. We often put a lot from our own mind into the meaning of a song. A good songwriter leaves out just enough so that each listener can fill in the blanks with their own thoughts. To me the song talks about freedom, fighting against authorities (kings or queens) and never give up the fighting because freedom is in our blood (wargblod). Freedom is an universal human need. Wolves are usually free beings and Wargs might be seen as warriors fighting for their freedom against some oppression. Or it can be a metaphor for individual freedom fighting from some cultural chains, like a political fight against some extreme forms of socialism or conservatism that doesn't meet everyone's need for individual freedom. That's my interpretation, it's not more right or wrong than yours.
