1900 dollars a night. And you lose half a day on arrival because of the speedboat transfers, the 2 hour check in. And on the day you leave they'll probably ask you to checkout early to catch the speed boat

Speedboat transfer is actually 1,5 hours from Malé. Typing this from my overwater bungalow, you’ve probably guessed it, @ Cinnamon Velifushi… Don’t hesitate, just book it. Great atmosphere, personnel is great as well, NO doesn’t exist in here….

If you paid so much for a Cinnamon property you were robbed. This is one of the "budget" resorts in the Maldives.

@@seelautravel 5 star resorts doesn't necessarily mean "luxury", it just means a hotel has amenities that are consistent with a star rating. Not all "5 stars" are equal as you are quite aware if you come from Thailand. Banyan Tree Krabi is a 5 star so is The Pavilions Anna Krabi. They are not remotely on the same level of "5 stars".
