Hi Rob Watch your channel quite a lot, great videos. The DJI problem may be when an update is done the flight mode is going back to beginner mode which only allows 30 m radius. You change it by just turning it off in the mc settings. and reset distance limits. Make sure the side button on your drone is set to rc not wifi. its the button near the sd card entrance. The drone depends on satellites not wifi in those zones. Hope this helps. Keep diving. love the underwater scenery.

Dude you're great. I fish out of Atlantic City NJ and we have to run close to 70 miles to get to any kind of deep water and good bottom. I only use 17ft skiff and I've been 62 miles offshore in that thing. I got a 40hp 2020 Merc and carry 27 gallons of fuel. I can run 70 miles each way and can troll for 15hrs with np. People think I'm nuts but you're camping on crazy islands and fishing your way in between and going pretty far. Keep it up man

IVE been reading about drones. This may or may not help. If your using your phone to fly your drone make sure the phone is on airplane mode. So you make sure you wont get a phone call while flying. Yes try using your phone with the drone because your phone wont need a cell service or a wifi service to fly the drone.

Not sure if it would work for you but I bought a Husqvarna fuel can which has a no spill nozzle thingy that means you can upend the can without spilling anything and stick it into whatever you're trying to fill. Once it's in the collar on the outside is pushed up and the nozzle opens. It then shuts itself off as soon as the can you're filling gets to a certain level. I think it's a fantastic thing and looks to be excellent quality. Haven't spilled a drop filling the mower or whatever else since I got it. Thanks for the video.

Hey Rod - it is a really annoying thing that happens with DJI drones. Sometimes you just randomly get logged out and need to log back in to your DJI account on the controller. I reckon if you make sure you are logged in at home each time you are packing for a trip you should be sweet as the auto log out only seems to happen if you haven't used the drone in a while and sometimes after an update etc etc. Definitely a crappy feature that has caught us out before on jobs too!

Rod hello I just started watching your videos they are fantastic quite enjoyable and the beauty that we see under the sea as well as on top is fantastic. About the tarp that you put over the front of your boat I don't know where you bought the boat but you might take your boat back there and see if they can put those button snaps down on the hall so they're watertight and then you can get a larger tarp or I would probably recommend pool cover material because it's 100% waterproof and can take the wind. Anyway put the snaps on the the pool cover and then on the boat so when you put it out like you normally do you can go down the side of your boat safe for 5 in to cover that gap between the aluminum rail and your boat where the wind and the water splash through the front? Then you just button snap at along the hole and then put it up like he normally would and that would completely give you wind and water protection when you're sleeping. I would like to recommend a channel that you look at when you have time MAV. This is a young man who camps at it his truck but the reason I recommend him is cuz he does extensive fishing and his truck. Something he has on his truck and I don't know if it would work for your boat but it's something to look at is a 270° awning. It mounts on the side of his jerk when he wants to use it he just undoes the velcro and the swings it around 270° and it covers his entire truck. Maybe they have something like that for your boat? One final option for your tarp when you roll it up would be to use like 2 in or 2 and 1/2 in PVC pipe and then you simply screw your tarp to the side of the pipe when you want to roll it out you just pull it it spins off the PVC pipe when you want to roll it up do the same and it wraps itself around the PVC pipe and then you just Velcro it. These are just options that I come up with in my head that I've wanted to shoot to you. You know it works keep putting out the videos. One other person you might consider watching if you don't already his name is GIDO. I think it's Gido's Adventures, but don't quote me. This guy I believe is from your side of the planet and he repels off the side of very steep cliffs right next to the ocean and he'll find those caves where the oceans have made a hole in the side of the mountain he'll repel down in there with his tent and his gear and his fishes right up the side of these monstrosities. He catches massive fish and he's super fun to watch maybe you already know him I don't know have fun Peace out from Oregon
