BPC also makes pens, so I would guess they'd want their inks to be used in those pens, so yeah - I think they would use pen-safe ingredients. As always, another lovely swatch fest. :) thanks so much

I use Interstellar Bronze in all the pens, except vintage, without any issue. It's the ink I most frequently use in my Benu Brown Orchid because it matches so well.

I though root cellar and streetcar were both very pretty. So many nice options in these samples. I hope you will ink them up in November so we can hear more about your experience with the inks. That Pamela is a keeper!

Thanks for the video. I loved hearing your thoughts on the BPC ink samples. I've always thought that they were a drier ink and tended to steer away from them. I don't care for dry inks. Maybe it's time I pulled the trigger on a couple of bottles 🤔

I tend to use the heavy sheening inks - like Interstellar Bronze and Tesla Coil or Emerald Fusion, in mixes. Just because I prefer tamping down some of the sheen. But I have used Emerald Fusion in a pen and it definitely came clean... much easier than using a shimmer ink.

I love hearing all your thoughts on inks and fountain pens and learn so much! I’m currently exploring BPC inks and mixing their colors by the recipes on their website…so interesting. I’ve had Tesla Coil in a fountain pen and it cleaned out of my pens very easily. 😊

Thanks for the info! I'm hesitant to put it in my brand new Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age. It's good to hear it cleans out easily. I think I'll give it a shot.

I’m definitely the same re: setting myself rules, but still figuring out how to recognize when they’re holding me back instead of giving me structure. It’s a work in progress.
