I apologize for the mispronouncing of Hotone, it’s Ho-Tone. Sorry! My bad 🤦🏻♂️

The "ping" sound you get when switching happens when you're playing one patch and switch. But in a real live band situation you usually stop/mute the sound then switch to another patch, at least most guitarists do in a live situation. So I don't see a problem.

Great review! I bought the Ampero Mini last month here in France for 199,00 euros. So a no brainer for a great pedal, especially if you are just breaking into the amp modeling world. It works well with my other pedals on the board and my old Roland expression work like a charm.

I seen a youtube video that had the Ampero Mini hooked up to a Air Step Midi Foot Controller with a USB C cable!The manual does not mention this but the guy on the youtube video got the midi mapping from the Ampero II manual!

Хочу его поставить в петлю к BOSS ME-90 для увеличения возможностей FX1, FX2 и иногда использовать усилители и кабинеты от MINI.Думаю, что должно неплохо получиться. Жду, когда девайс приедет из Китая.

Curious how well the M-Wave Chocolate midi controller will work the Mini

great review, it is a great toy....lets leave it at that...that price range there are better options for sure....compression and saturations are overkill in Mini Ampero, but you gotta love the interface and the touch screen and how easy it is to use the interface with almost no learning curve.....

I don't know why Hotone won't just tell us how they want us to pronounce their name. Is it "Hot Tone", "Ho Tone", "Hot One" or what? This is great by the way, I have one on my board! It would have been irreplaceable to me if it had FX loop! :D

I love this little thing, but is there any possibility to record the guitar with drum loop when used as an audio interface? I didn't succeed trying.
@MadSteex Жыл бұрын
I don’t think so. Tried listening the drum in usb mode and the audio does not come out

Hola, gran demo!, es comparable la calidad del sonido con tu QuadCortex, o es muy alejada la comparación?
@MadSteex Жыл бұрын
If you compare the pure sound of the modelled amps they both are really good and comparable.. but QC is another planet, different usage and more versatile, I’ll not compare them on whole machine, but for only sound of model, in my opinion this MINI version is really great

This may sound silly, but can you change presets while jamming using the looper?
@MadSteex Жыл бұрын
I don’t think so cause the two footswitches are for the play and record the looper, but I can be wrong
@Raamrooz Жыл бұрын
I think with the hotone footswitch, you can add two other footswtuches that you can assign new parameters, maybe it will work with looper as well.
@elang.satriaaa Жыл бұрын
how about stereo mode are you split the output cable or is automatically stereo mode?
@MadSteex Жыл бұрын
I used an Y cable cause going into audio interface you have only separated mono input. If you have a single stereo input in a mixer for example is automatic.

It's got a harmonic juiciness that I don't even hear on the BS expensive stuff like fractal etc. Or maybe it's the fractal nerds just have no taste in music/sounds.
