because.. i guess it depends. if you want convenient and perfect all round.. then get the e63. if you want exotic, but with flaws, get the FF. the "daily" aspect depends on your tolerance for depreciation due to mileage, and for the difficulty in making a 6.2 NA V12 and a twin-clutch behave in stop and go traffic.

As the very happy owner of a built-to-spec 2020 E63S, they’re amazing cars. It’s super comfortable when you want it to be (with the standard massage seats, not that piece of fake leather covered plastic masquerading as a car seat), it’s a lot of fun and a bad-ass to drive, and it’s got some amazing safety features, some of which come straight out of a freaking top of the line S-class. It’s nuts. And for 600 hp, 25 mpg hwy is comparable to my 28 mpg/345 hp Chrysler 300C with AWD, a car I loved. And no, I didn’t “teenager” my car. No stupid night package with carbon fibre everywhere, like it’s a schizophrenic American-style muscle car. You get a German luxury car to be a German luxury car. You don’t get it to make your chiropractor and massage therapist rich sitting in thin plastic seats covered in leather so you don’t feel totally ripped off. It’s like that George Carlin joke about visors. Either get a hat or don’t. Don’t half ass it.

You should check out either the previous or current gen RS4 and consider a 1 year old C63 AMG Wagon since it's just a smaller E63 wagon but with just rear wheel drive.

For cross country trip with unknown road quality & driving conditions, he'd be better off with AWD. Not only they are more usefull, they are also safer and better at distributing tire wear. For driving on tarmac, Audi's Quattro system is the king.

Sam, STG is excellent. I only found it because of the 4C but have looked at many of your fellow KZbinrs since and they serve to underline just how good STG is. As an unashamed Alfisti I may be biased but for me your next car is a simple choice and I cannot fathom why you haven't had a Giulia Quadrifoglio already. Having driven one the driving experience is as close as you can get to a four door Ferrari and you already know just how good it is so a return to Stag's original roots is my recommendation. I think you should try looking at a C7 Corvette, preferably the Z06 or a Grandsport. I know they're kind of difficult to find in Europe, but they have lots of storage space and would make for a great GT car.

Sam, Ghana is a country worth visiting on your tour. Friendly people, great roads thanks to partnership with China for infrastructure investment. Accra to Kumasi road is a great trip. Buy a LHD car as very few drive on our side of the road ;)
