The first song I ever heard by Seether was them covering "Careless Whisper" and I found I actually liked their version better. (It was heavier than the original, which was more in an "easy listening" type of style, and is best known for his saxophone solo.) Anyway, if you get a chance, you should give it a listen.

So I love this song because I love both artists and because my son who has Tourette’s and adhd asked for a guitar and he taught himself to play and write songs,he had this friend who had a younger sister she was 12 and sounded so much like Amy Lee so my son sounds so much like the seethers lead singer so we used to go to the local coffee shop on open mic night and they sang it together and people were stunned since then my son has taught himself how to play guitar, drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar and keyboard. He is almost 34 years old and he used play the guitar and sing in his bedroom with my bedroom right next to his he has no idea how many times he sang me to sleep anyway my 2 year old grandson had been at Grandma’s house and he heard them playing it upstairs, he just sat and watched them sing how I wished he was still in church like that,so that song was very popular at the time my son and Katy were performing at the coffee shop,it was always on the radio and you can only hear a song so much until you get tired of it but not my Grandson if we were in the car and that song came on and anyone tried to turn the channel he would scream “That’s my uncle Bubby and Katy song!!! Don’t turn off my uncle Bubby!!!” He is 17 years old now and remembers all of it. He knows that the song is actually Seether and Amylee he still calls it Bubby’s song”
