On their sixth full-length album Isolate and Medicate, multi-platinum alternative rock trio Seether - Shaun Morgan [vocals, guitar], Dale Stewart [bass, backing vocals], and John Humphrey [drums] - strip their trademark melodic thrash to its core and deliver the most poignant, passionate, and powerful record of their illustrious career. One Cold Night is in my tops of unplugged shows 👍 I've got a cute story. I wore that CD out playing it in my car. I'd get in and ask my then 3 year old, ""what do you want to hear"" she'd say ""Seeter"" (that's what shed call it,lol) I'd say ""good choice"" I'd slide it in, she'd say ""TURN IT UP"" Even though my Sub already had her vibrating in her car seat🤘 Memories ✌️

I think I'd tell her that story if you haven't already that is an awesome story that's cool that's cool she grew up on Seether unless she's still growing up that's really awesome I ended up getting the deluxe one the deluxe one cold night with the interview and the DVD in it and it was really good they have other shows but I think that one's the best one but if any band can play a show acoustically and sound good without all the bells and whistles as far as recording goes they're talented

So glad I know now some 10 years later where " The Gift" came from. It's absolutely one of my favorite songs in general, not just from Seether. Makes total sense now that it would be inspired by his daughter. Awesome video here. Seether unplugged is definitely in my top 3 as well, btw. We were at the smashing pumpkins+james concert in SA(it was before seether left SA so was great to see them play..had seen them once since then), and we watched the cult (which the lead singer decided to stagedive and everyone in the golden circle moved out the way which was shown on the giant screens on either side of the stage). Smashing pumpkins had a toy lobster on one of their speakers which would stand up and clap its hands..i was obsessed watched it.
