The original of this song is on my ringtone. Literally my favorite Seether's song. But lately I've been wanting to listen to calmer melodies. And damn... this is what I need. The original is saturated with energy and rage, but the acoustic version seems to gently flirt with the listener. And both moods suit the text! Thank you so much for this album!

When yall played this at the radio station ....i was in LOVE with this acoustic version!! It was soooo haunting and beautiful. Yall are one of the worlds most UNDERRATED bands and im so happy to see yall making new albums and making new fans! 90s and early 2000s grunge was by far the best era ever!!!! Signed- A middle aged fan that knows yall may never see this but i appreciate yall so much. Years back i tried to commit s***** and nearly didnt make it. When i got home from the hospital, "rise above this" was playing....id been a superfan since.
