Ben is a way better parent than she is, jessa maliciously wouldn’t let her kids watch paw 🐾 patrol on a Florida vacay and made Ben read the the Bible to the children, her kids r absolutely darling and precious though

It’s bizarre. When they first announced Spurgeon’s name I was....eh. I thought it was really weird if I’m honest. But it actually suits him so well and I’ve grown to love his name. It seems like a strong name, and a perfect name for a protective, wise big brother like he is. It just suits him perfectly.

Why was Counting on cancelled? Maybe UP TV would pick them up? Was so looking towards seeing each couple and how they choose to bring up their children, and seeing the cousins playing together.

@@Sabbathissaturday me either, we weren't raised watching TV. It wasn't for religious reasons, my parents just felt like it wasn't good for us and that our time could be spent doing other things. I read a lot of books growing up. We were allowed to watch TV on Saturday mornings when cartoons were on but that's it. Now I'm really showing my age, bcuz the younger generation always seems so amazed when I tell them when I was a kid cartoons were only on TV on Saturday mornings and ended at 11am. So since then I've never really been interested in watching TV. I have TVs, I have one in my bedroom and I haven't turned it on not once since i moved into my new house 18 months ago bcuz it's still not plugged in. Not to mention cable is ridiculously expensive. I can't see paying $200 a month to watch TV. And my sons are 20 and 22 and they don't watch TV either, just movies from time to time.
