If unleashed project is in the works we need remaster or enhanced port at least. Sonic unleashed is my first and favorite game ever but I have to acknowledge that even the wherehog is a issue, I think why people hate the wherehog is his speed but he is not a slow fighter but a bad platformer. His jump and double jump have a terrible lag what makes it short and also grabbing legdes had it and you had to walk slow. If you would ask me they should cut the levels into 4 acts and make them optional, and fix day time sonic jump lag frame rate and controls and maybe the graphics a bit better make the progression system 3X faster and give the wherehog a mode where you can try out you moves.

Sega can't be that ashamed of 06 since Crisis city came back in gens, it has be referenced in other games many times since and they brought it back in the symphony. If Sega were ashamed of 06, they wouldn't have celebrated it in the symphony. Also, 06 getting a remake would make so much sense as it would mean they could fix the game, make it's potential shine like it should have originally and fix its legacy. Boom wasn't in the symphony bc they are ashamed of that abomination of a game. While I'd love an unleashed remake, it's unlikely bc they do not want to tarnish unleashes good reputation and it's legacy. It's the same reason why they won't remake the adventure games.

Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2 getting remade is more likely (I think to tie in with a possible Sonic Movie 5 and for the 30th anniversary of the Sega Dreamcast) Sonic 06, I'd doubt it'll happen as Sega-ATLUS is ashamed of that game, there's Sonic P-06 from ChaosX so I'd go with that as the Sonic 06 reimagined

I could see Sega wanting to switch to UE5 because Sonic used to be a graphical showcase for Sega back when they were on top. Sonic 1, 2 and 3 were all showing off what the Genesis/Mega Drive could do. Sonic Adventure 1 was the best looking game of 1998 when it released in Japan. Sonic Unleashed impressed with it's incredible visuals and speed on the PS3 and Xbox 360. All of this totally makes sense with Sega's current statements of them wanting Sonic to be just like Mario again. With UE5 and Lumen + Nanite they can absolutely push a Sonic game to visuals most games would love to achieve. I'd also love to see a huge improvement in animation, maybe Sega could use their internal CG team, Marza, to do much of the animation. I miss squash and stretch in Sonic animation

It’s weird. When I see Rouge, I don’t think, “man she’s really sexually appealing, lemme make sure there aren’t any kids around to see me playing Sonic Dream Team on my phone!” I just see Rouge! Another one of the franchise’s greatly designed, beloved characters! I love that she’s becoming a more used character with Dream Team and Sonic Prime. If she’s to not be featured in Sonic 3 because it wouldn’t work for their plot, then I’d understand. If the movie works better and clearer without her, than by all means. But if it’s her design that’s oh so vulgar that they could never, than that’s something I don’t agree with. Not to mention she’s still a featured character in Sonic X which you can find on Netflix with a maturity rating of 7+. I feel like she’s comparable to Ty Lee from Avatar TLA, especially in The Beach episode where they show cleavage and whatnot. It’s not inappropriate or anything and that show is 10+. Please, feel free to disagree, maybe there’s more I need to learn about this but that’s how I feel.

To be honest, If they ditch the hedgehog engine it would make more sense since they most likely do not have the technical prowess at SEGA to expand the Hedgehog Engine. Like the people who originally coded it and made it probably don’t even work at Sonic Team anymore. To make an engine better they’ll probably have to break the foundation of the engine to add more / make it more optimized etc. which essentially would be a lot of work to do without its original developers I would imagine.

At this point in time, the Hedgehog Engine is 16 years old and it's age is starting to show, and if Sega-ATLUS wants to go back and remaster Sonic Unleashed, they'll use that game to tie in with a possible Sonic Movie 4 and to give the Hedgehog Engine a send off. It's like how VALVe has been using the Source Engine since Half-Life 2 and that engine is 20 years old (and pretty dated) and Bethesda has been using the creation engine for many years and hasn't retired them yet. The Hedgehog Engine was made with the boost gameplay in mind and the pop ins where there to prevent crashes, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, Sonic Forces and even Sonic Lost World (even though SLW was it's own thing like Sonic Heroes) where made for that Engine where as Sonic Frontiers' open zone wasn't (Cyber Space showed that and how there where no Pop ins in the Cyber Space zones just open zone) using Unreal Engine for the Sonic Adventure Remakes and Sonic Frontiers 2 would make more sense as it won't have as much pop ins and have tested it with Persona 3 Reload and Unreal seems to be more reliable for such games rather than the Hedgehog Engine.

IF Rouge isn't in the movie I would be very shocked. Everything Shadow is in Rouge is in it too that is a fact. Also easy way to Fix Werehog. AXE THE LEVEL UP SYSTEM Put items in the stages that upgrade the werehog's strength and defense. And have all the combos unlocked from the get go but you get no complete list till you discover them yourself. As a way to learn them kids in the hub worlds can tell you about them. This would work so well. One of the werehogs moves is literally the Shoruken from Streetfighter so the idea of kids telling Sonic how cool it would be if he did this move, or that move, would be perfect!

I really miss the great old times of seeing Sonic, his friends and others in 3D action, cutscenes and stuff. What happened to them? They were awesome being seen in 3D those multiple times. Alright. Taken everything to account from my sources from a friend of mine, how the brand is being treated and the audience’s perception of Sonic…this is looking like SegaSammy’s possible last hurrah they’re giving Sonic Team for Sonic. Looking at the general consensus, Sonic is still isolated in terms of pop culture and relevance…with most only looking forward to the movie. Assuming the their ‘Super Game’ strategy fails and the movie energy isn’t gaining traction after Movie 3, this could be the last big push before they’re considering selling off their assets. Let’s be real, Sonic is a lovable franchise for many fans, but to the company it’s just another IP. And their Japanese attitude definitely hints towards wanting control for clarity in potential buyers. Now of course subject to change, but all signs are pointing to them wanting to ‘wash their hands’ so to speak outside of Persona and Yakuza. Sonic may have creativity, but that’s subjective and talent and soul are another thing altogether. This IP is for the new fans from the movies now, that’s what SegaSammy wants. What do you think? I’m just going on based on the data I’ve gathered, but it certainly seems that it’s heading there s o o n e r rather than later.

Even my co-workers were excited about Sonic x Shadow Generations which surprised me (also it being played in Sony's State of Play was a big move, because that's a very well known digital presentation)

It’s what comes out of the IP that leaves people wondering is it good to invest or not. It ultimately comes down to if SegaSammy continues seeing value in Sonic to make that money until running it dry or another “06” comes along. In a sense, it’s pretty much why I’m so distant from Sonic after all these flops. Waiting nearly a decade with baited breath for 7 or 6 out of 10 Sonic games just doesn’t suit me. And I know I’m not the only one, friends of mine are leaving Sonic because they feel he isn’t worth it anymore.

Recently everytime a Sonic game has been remastered, they added some extra story elements to the title. Color Ultimate got that cartoon with Metal Sonic and that new wisp. Sonic Origins had those cartoon cutscenes, and implemented Amy as a playable character. Sonic Generations will have Shadow's side story and campaign. Etc etc There's a chance that Sega is gonna add another story if they remastered Unleashed, but will that mean they'll call back Jason for some new dialog if they added another extra feature to Unleashed? Or just stick with Roger?

I would not be surprised if Sonic Unleashed receives a remaster. It’s a given based on what you said in this video, and how much Sega latched on the boost gameplay that really kicked off with Unleashed. If they could find a way to go ham on tweaking Unleashed with crazy big improvements but still keep true to what the game is, I’d be down. The Wherehog is an essential part of the game. And the only reason I wasn’t the biggest fan of it was because it was too much of it. It was a drag, and monotonous with the battles. I don’t hate it for it’s sheer existence so much that it just wasn’t as amazing to play as the traditional Sonic day stages. But it would be interesting to see how they go about refining it in any way. But I guess it would be too much to ask for significant enhancements.

TBH having Sonic Unleashed Remastered (oh what ever they're going to call it, Sonic Unleashed World Wide with Knuckles and Shadow playable or Sonic Unleashed and Knuckles with a Episode Knuckles) would be perfect to give the Hedgehog Engine a send off, Sonic Unleashed was the first game to use the Hedgehog Engine plus I think We might see Sonic Unleashed Remaster as a tie in to Sonic Movie 4 being other remasters did it. Sonic Colors Ultimate - Sonic Movie 1 Sonic Origins/Sonic Origins Plus - Sonic Movie 2 Sonic X Shadow Generations - Sonic Movie 3 So it won't be a no brainer for Sega-ATLUS to release Sonic Unleashed Remastered to coincide with Sonic Movie 4, now I still think We're getting Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2 remakes as a tie in for Sonic Movie 5, mostly because ATLUS (parent company of SegaSammy) has remade Persona 3 and sold over 1,000,000 copies worldwide and Sega-ATLUS would green lite the Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 remakes, I think Sonic Heroes, Sonic 06 and Sonic Lost World are out of the question on not being remade or remastered (mostly because Sonic Heroes started the Dark Age of Sonic, Sonic 06 solidified that age and Sonic Lost World is on PC via Steam) As for Rouge not being in Sonic Movie 3, I'm fine with it being how Rouge is seen as skimpy and won't be good for kids, yes they could cover Her up like what Wildbrain and Man of Actions did with Sonic Prime but I don't know, but Amy makes more sense as She was the one who made Shadow turned over to the light and who is going to voice her? I'd rather if Sonic Unleashed got remastered and Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2 got remade instead of Sonic Heroes. This is because Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas used RenderWare and got remastered using Unreal Engine 4, Sonic Heroes used RenderWare and I feel that if got remastered using Unreal Engine 5 We could see another Sonic Colors Ultimate Situation. Plus Remaking Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2 using Unreal Engine 5 with the current cast (Roger Craig Smith, Mike Pollock and new dialogue written by Ian Flynn to be close to the Japanese dialogue) have it be a tie in to Sonic Movie 5 and the 30th anniversary of the Dreamcast would be great, where as Sonic Unleashed Remastered would tie in with Sonic Movie 4 and give the Hedgehog Engine a Viking send off as Sonic Unleashed was the first game to use the Hedgehog Engine

Yeah, it makes sense, Amy be in the 3rd film. Yeah, Rouge's design, 4kids and Netflix did Rouge nice, so Paramount needs to follow Sonic Prime's roots. I think Sonic Heroes should be a remaster, I remember fans hate when the characters feel slippery when they take a moment or need a break without going to the bathroom or just take a call so yeah Sonic Heroes or Sonic Unleashed, I play Unleashed on the X-box 360 never play it all so yeah, I hoping Heroes or Unleashed getting a remaster or remake when they don't say it thank you for the video.

I definitely don't want a chance of Adventure 1, 2, and Unleashed getting butchered so Heroes is a worthy sacrifice tbh. If its bad, not like the world will go do in flames since there will only be like 10 or less folks who would get pissed if it flops. But if its great, then cool it means it will lead to more games getting remaster or remake. Seriously hope Heroes remaster or remake is good. I haven't tried out OG Heroes but I would like to speedrun Metropolis, Frog Forest, and Egg Fleet, especially on UE5. Plus i think Sega/Sonic Team will probably have to bring in the Meta voice actors for the game since they might not bring all of the OG Dreamcast actors can't come back cuz their busy or sadly passed away. Unless they have a different way to still bring back the OG dialogue from Heroes, still I think Sega/Sonic Team will have the 2010s voice actors redo the voice lines, which hopefully they don't piss off Heroes fans who love the game, especially Prem lol. If the 2010s actors done good for Heroes remake, then cool hopefully they do the same for Adventure, Unleashed, and maybe 06 remake

Idk where you could go to suggest things for the "Sonic 3" movie. But a way to could fix their concerns for Rouge, (the whole cleavage issue), is yes covering it up, but they could give her body armor or a Kevlar vest with her iconic Heart emblem on it as a breast plate. Things they could fix for these 5 games Adventure 1 n 2 = Voice acting, animation, camera work, SA2 treasure hunting should have SA1 emerald tracker, Tails Mech lvls should feel faster, and add new modes for Chao Garden Heroes = Ik some folks will say that Heroes needs a reimagining than anything but honestly Heroes just needs to shorten the lvls so that replaying them won't feel too tedious, improve controls, etc 06 = Needs a reimagining Unleashed = I love Unleashed but honestly I would say that Sonic Team should give it the open zone or smaller sandbox treatment tbh. Reason why I say that is because I feel like this could balance out both Sonic n werehog in terms of speed. Sonic's speed would be like Frontiers where u can manipulate his movement while werehog is as fast as SA2 Knuxs, if not more faster since the lvls would be open. And better combat too n platforming. Plus at least the team won't waste develop time on recreating each world since players mostly boost through lvls n harder explore them. And it will make medal collecting and finding other collectables more easier n enjoyable. What's worrisome for all of the games is that Sega/Sonic Team will have to bring in the 2010s actors to redo lines. Welp except Unleashed, technically Sega could low-key bring Jason back while Mike still do Eggman. Collen is already a perfect Tails so I don't see any complaints. Amy, don't really care if her old Unleashed VA comes back or not. Not sure what Chip n Professor Pickles va are currently doing but if Sega could bring them back, then cool. If not; then hopefully they bring in new actors that are good for both characters. Doubt Sega will do it, but man even if the Unleashed remaster or remake happens n fails, I'll still be a happy mf if they bring back Jason 😭🙏

For Unleashed, We could see Jason Griffith, Amy Palant, Jay Snyder (Dan Green) Lisa Ortiz and Tony Salerno reprise their role as Sonic, Werehog, Tails, Amy, Prof. Pickle and Chip in a Sonic Unleashed remastered (Sonic Unleashed and Knuckles) but if We get Episode Knuckles, then I think Dan Green will reprise his role as Knuckles and we find out where Knuckles was in Sonic Unleashed. As for Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2 getting the Persona 3 Reload and Final Fantasy 7 Remake treatment, most likely We're going to see Roger Craig Smith, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Dave Mitchell, Cindy Robinson, Kyle Heybert, Kirk Thornton and Karren Strassman reprise their roles as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big, Shadow and Rouge and new actors for E-102 Gamma, Tikal and Maria, TBH I think having new dialogue written by Ian Flynn to match the Japanese dialogue for Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2 would be nice (kinda like what the English dub of Dragon Ball Z Kai did for Dragon Ball Z.) Of course Mike Pollock is going to do both Adventure remakes and Unleashed Remastered

Honestly throughout Unleashed story, the only characters that are really essentially are Sonic, Chip, and Eggman. Chip old actor could return but if not, then hopefully the new one does well. I mean I think most folks wouldn't really mind Chip get a new voice change, especially since he hasn't really shown up since well Unleashed. Tails n Amy hasn't really got much screentime in Unleashed and I think most Dark era fans are already got used to Collen n Cindy as their respective characters anyways. Not saying I don't want the OGs to return, it would be cool if some of the 4kids actors return, but if Sega can't do it cuz business schedule or something else then I think having 2 og Unleashed actors n 3 new actors are fine. As for Knuxs, Dan Green would be a cool too. Even tho if Sega does bring in Knuxs episode, I kinda think Sega would stick to the current Knuxs mostly to save money. That or Dan might not be interested. Either way a Knuxs episode would be cool n honestly either actor could work as Knuxs. For Adventure, I like the idea of redoing the script to match the Japanese script. Still would like them to keep some iconic n funny lines from both SA1 n 2, but still ya how they match the Japanese script. Plus also remove some lines like Tails saying something cheerful in the end and ruining the mood for both SA1 n Sa2 endings. Only thing that the new actors have to do is still capture the OG's performance. Mike I have no doubt he'll do great as Eggman since he already got the menacing side of him right. Is just that Roger I'm worried about. Roger can capture the mature side of Sonic, but I don't think he really got the adventurous sauce Sonic imo. I'm all for new lines but still Roger gotta do well capturing the young daring blue hedgehog. As for Kirk as Shadow, honestly if he loosen the grunt noises like Forces, then Kirk would be solid. Collen is still the perfect Tails so I have no doubt she'll do well for the Adventure remakes, especially with the new lines. Cindy would be fine at capturing Adventure Amy's personality. Knuxs, kinda wish the OG came back. No hate to the current actor of Knuxs but I just take Adventure Knuxs a little more seriously because of chill stoick voice. The current one just sounds kinda obnoxious a bit when he buttheads with Sonic and it just made me eye roll everytime the man speaks. I will give the current actor of Knuxs a chance but I hope he tones down on being too arrogant when facing Sonic. Big, honestly would anyone really notice or care he got a voice change. If anything I think he's fishing mission might be sideline n not mandatory tbh. And finally Rouge, reaaalllyyy hope the current actor improve from Dream Team cuz she acting as Rouge sounded too much of Peach n just off as Rouge. I hope she brings in the sassy spy girl personality just like the Adventure era tho. If all the new actor manages to capture the og performance and add on improvement, then Adventure 1 n 2 stories is looking great

No offense but Silver is a interesting character Sonic 06 wasn’t good as because it does have glitchy mechanics and the loading system is too long but I think the problem with it is the style of the game it doesn’t look like an actual sonic game which we have characters that look uncanny and Elise looks like she’s from final fantasy Eggman does not look like nothing than his actual design from the normal games with the original style

Probably not. Making your own engine takes lots of work so Sega might want to switch to a commercial engine. Persona 3 Reload, even though it's Atlus, switched from their own internal engine to UE4
