The ost for this game is amazing...and whats even more awesome is that Matt Furniss composed half the songs.the boss theme and also mickey in the tugboat theme are ny favorites.and the moose chase is as close as mode 7 as any genesis game can.get.i love this game and its soundtrack.

So beautiful OST. This game brings me wonderful memories. Just another piece of amazingness directly from Genesis. I don't know how can people compare games that existed in both Genesis and SNES and say that Nintendo music is better. They just can't reproduce the bass reached by SEGA composers. One of my favorites on Genesis is Maui Mallard, which have Giacchino involved, too. Disney did so many incredible games on that decade, it's a shame they couldn't keep it up after the 2000s.

I had (and still have) this game on the PS1... played it on the PS2. I remember it being super hard. Only found out about the Mega Drive version years later. I was surprised how similar both versions looked.

Dustin, I don't know if you can hear it, but I can very faintly hear the DAC ladder effect noise in some songs here, meanwhile I go and turn Mickey Mania on with my model 1 and WHOA! The ladder effect is insanely loud on the YM2612 with this game. I like it that way personally, however, as I believe the ladder effect is an essential part of the sound experience with this console. With the DAC noise being much quieter on the 3438, a lot of the echo/reverb of this soundtrack that is heard on a model 1 is lost. Matt Furniss really used that noise to great effect in this game, I gotta say.

Also I wanted to say, that recently my model 1 had a bit of a stroke with the amp for the headphone jack, as one day out of nowhere I was getting no sound from the left side of my headphones. But through the DIN port on the back I still got full sound, so the amp circuit for the headphone jack was pretty much the prime suspect of the problem for me. Turns out my hunch was right. After getting that amp replaced, I now had full sound from the jack again, but for some odd reason, I feel as if the audio is less muffled than before with the new amp. That's a good thing for me though.

A lot of people here seem to really like Inner Sanctum, and I've gotta say, I definitely agree! It's one of my favourites out of all the tracks that this game has to offer. The music is what makes the Mega Drive/Genesis version so special. Something has to be done anyway. Apparently SNES emulators tend to tweak the sound while Genesis emulators tend to mess the sound (when it's not completely ruined, check out what some Genesis emulators do with Death and Return of Superman or Vectorman II for examples ;S)... Seriously, sometimes it looks like a conspiracy where Nintendo, in addition to being cheap, were also very lucky: they restricted the most important third parties during the NES/Master System era (namely Capcom & Konami which is mainly why they gained so much ground on the console market back then), they had some cheap cash cows such as Pokemon (bleh) & even the emulation manages to bring its own share of crap... So yeah, the world needs real hardware recordings of SNES games as well, for fair comparisons, for great justice! BTW did my 1st post here is marked as spam or something?

Hey ben. The game is indeed better on Mega Drive, by quite a huge margin, but music wise I can't really tell yet as I only compared a few tracks. As I said I prefer Steamboat Willie on SNES but the others sound weird on it, The Wharf for example seems to miss some notes. I'll tell you! Currently I am also comparing Saturday Night Slam Master & yet I mostly prefer the Mega Drive music. I'm pleasantly surprised by this game's soundtrack. Also love the Hokuto no Ken art style.
