Lindo! A interatividade do final desse jogo é surpreendente. Greeting from Brazil to all retrogamers!

my sister and i played this together when we were kids, the music is super nostalgic. she passed away about a year ago in a car accident, but thinking about all the fun we had playing the genesis helps me smile. she always had to be player 1 so she could be toejam so i always had to be the slow earl. but you know what? he had a lil kick in his step that i liked. sometimes you just gotta be the chill bro! miss you dani..

I know the feeling, my friend. My mom and I would play TJ&E a lot on the ol' Genesis (as well as Zombies Ate My Neighbors) and, since she passed away in 2013, little nostalgic things like this have always brought a big smile to my face (and a tear to my eye from time to time, I'll admit). I was beyond excited when the new game was announced (though my wallet was not as pleased), and I asked Greg if he could perhaps mention her in the credits as a backer name and he had no problem agreeing to the homage. The whole crew behind these games, and at HumaNature studios, are truly a class act.

Thanks for uploading this in such pristine quality. Your video description inspired me to break out my old Genesis to see which model it is. I too own a Model 1, but unfortunately it's the one with the annoying start-up information. Either way, this encouraged a great trip down memory lane both in terms of Toejam & Earl as well as learning the differences of Genesis models.

I love that you can tell from the timing that this was played by a human. Probably the only 16-bit soundtrack where that's an *advantage*.

Red Letter Media did one of their "Best of the Worst" videos featuring it, one of the guys on the panel discussing it mentions that its soundtrack is "ToeJam & Earl funk" and it's a completely accurate description.

This OST fuggin S L A P S. Seriously though, they did a great job producing this ST. The songs are pretty long for a sega game, and how they progress instead of just looping 20 seconds of something. Of course all music loops, but, ya know.

I am one of the people, if not the single person, who has completed TJNE random world with Toejam the most times. I've done it literally hundreds of times. It usually takes me 45-90 minutes, and most of the time, I only die one to three times. This is not a real accomplishment, but it's the truth. I;m sure I couldn't touch the speed run, but as a young child, I used to rent TJNE when I had to chill at my babysitter's house for countless hours doing nothing, and could never beat the game, and have had a gaming vendetta ever since. My success rate is probably 95 percent now, and I feel like I could maybe get a doctorate in TJNE theory.

I started playing Pizza Tower and the music in that game brought me right back to this gem. Maybe it's unintentional, but I find a lot in common with both OST at the point it made me feel quite nostalgic. Awesome games both of them

So cool to be able to listen to this year's later. Who remembers the mom with the crying kid running you over and the mad d.r with the needle. Never got past those quick sand levels before we gave up the sega.
