I know the feeling, my friend. My mom and I would play TJ&E a lot on the ol' Genesis (as well as Zombies Ate My Neighbors) and, since she passed away in 2013, little nostalgic things like this have always brought a big smile to my face (and a tear to my eye from time to time, I'll admit). I was beyond excited when the new game was announced (though my wallet was not as pleased), and I asked Greg if he could perhaps mention her in the credits as a backer name and he had no problem agreeing to the homage. The whole crew behind these games, and at HumaNature studios, are truly a class act.

I am one of the people, if not the single person, who has completed TJNE random world with Toejam the most times. I've done it literally hundreds of times. It usually takes me 45-90 minutes, and most of the time, I only die one to three times. This is not a real accomplishment, but it's the truth. I;m sure I couldn't touch the speed run, but as a young child, I used to rent TJNE when I had to chill at my babysitter's house for countless hours doing nothing, and could never beat the game, and have had a gaming vendetta ever since. My success rate is probably 95 percent now, and I feel like I could maybe get a doctorate in TJNE theory.
