Hi, I wanted to know what you did for the proyection to be blue? Is it another disc than the one that comes with the proyector? Thanks for the answer
@SUNFOREST2 жыл бұрын
Hi Michelle! There are plenty of other disks available for the Home Star all with different images on them. You can find them on Amazon by searching for homestar disk. Thanks for your comment!

Hey! I have this wonderful little star projector, but I’ve lost the cord to it 😔 Could you tell me what the voltage output is on the cord? I’m trying to find the right one, but I can’t seem to find the voltage output ANYWHERE! 😵💫 Thank you so much!

Hey man where do you get the discs from? The link isn't in the description
@SUNFOREST3 жыл бұрын
Sorry about that! hit Google for a search of Homestar disks, and quite a few different online stores carry a wide variety of disks!

Do you orefer thisnover the flux. I like how spaced out this is but i believe the flux just shows the stars in an oval window which i dont like
@SUNFOREST3 жыл бұрын
I personally haven't tried the Flux for myself yet, but from what I have seen the Flux is the superior model due to the sharpness and brightness of the image. Thanks for the comment!

@@SUNFOREST but thats not ideal if you're trying to sleep. the original is better as a night light where as the flux is better for gazing at the stars

would you recommend this for a home theatre?
@SUNFOREST3 жыл бұрын
Hi there! It's not the best option as far as full ceiling coverage, it does about an average bedroom sized ceiling pretty well, but it wouldn't be all that great during the movie from the brightness of the projector screen. You might be better off getting a laser star projector for your home theater ceiling, or even the Sega Homestar Flux is a bit better if you don't have complete darkness. Thanks for the comment!
@soldamnyou56093 жыл бұрын
What about a ceiling fan? Would it ruin the entire effect?
@SUNFOREST3 жыл бұрын
A ceiling fan would most likely ruin the image if it were in complete center of the projection, but if it were off to the side then it wouldn't really matter all that much.
@soldamnyou56093 жыл бұрын
@@SUNFOREST Yes, I bought one, this thing rocks!! Even with a ceiling fan and vaulted ceiling’s.

Does this require complete darkness? In my bedroom it is I would say 90% dark, some very small light coming from outside street lights even with curtains. One suggestion would be to add to review showing you carrying about the projector on bed, floor etc to get a better idea of how much of the ceiling or wall is covered depending on the distance from projector.
@SUNFOREST3 жыл бұрын
The Homestar original would work in a mostly dark room, but if you don't have complete darkness, you're better off getting the Homestar Flux version which is a bit more expensive, but is much much brighter. As far as covering the ceiling, it doesn't have a huge area that it covers, but if it's near your bed you will get most of your FOV filled with projection. Thanks for the comment!
