hi!! I have the same problem that you had, I changed the laser but it does not recognize the cds, I did not understand how you fixed it, could you explain to me what you checked that you found with the solution? thank you so much

Clean the laser lense if you can first, failing that, replace the laser with a version that suits your model. Whilst you're changing it, some people recommend changing the capacitors since they can leak, but it's not super easy without good kit so consider whether you would want to do that before trying.

@@NaokisRC thanks for the reply! what I did not understand about how you fixed the problem, if it was by changing the capacitors, it is the only thing that I have not tried in my case yet

I clean the lens and change the lens also, i still with the same problem, disc spin, i got red light from the láser, but not recognize the cd
