Played this as a kid in Virginia. 30 years later and I live in Big Sur where half of this was filmed. They passed my house in the beginning! What is this magic?

I loved this in the 80s it seemed really good as a kid you actually felt like you was driving, obv as an adult and some nearly WOW!! 30 years on it doesn’t look the best..It was good fun in its time.

When I was a kid and I saw the commercials on TV in the early 1990s, I was in disbelief about Sega making a piece of shit like this. Sega was the company that brought us the Master System, the SegaScope glasses, the Light Phaser gun, the Megadrive, but all of a sudden, it made this instead of video games. Anyway, that did not deter me from being a fan of the Sega games that actually matter.

I got it on closeout at a Kay-Bee in the mall by my grandma. Many fond memories, though I still feel like the bars that set where you're supposed to "drive" often have no relation to whats been shown on the tape.

Even as a kid it made no sense to me how it was supposed to be like a "simulation" of actually driving but the video cuts out certain parts of the drive.

There is no technology back then. But the kids enjoyed this game. But the sad thing is they never sale this in the Philippines back in the 80's the most ever they sale here in the Philippines is ActionMax and Captain Power VHS game

God, I remember getting this for Christmas one year, and the damn wheel never worked properly, so even if you wanted to 'play' it (and I use the word play SO so loosely here) you couldn't (wouldn't keep track of your score). It was just a cheesy video of a driving sequence which was so obviously sped up to offer the impression of speed. We were idiots as kids thinking of these as anything more than total rip off novelty items.
