We had a chance to test drive a couple Segway Fugleman's a little while ago. This is Segway's utility machine and we had the opportunity to give them a little shakedown. Overall the machines felt pretty good and will likely stack up well against other machines in this market segment. Only time will truly tell how well these units perform and hold together. Out of the box they look good and seem to function well. This was only a basic overview and we didn't get a chance to load them up, tow, pull or really test out the utility of them on a larger scale. Thanks for checking out the video and leave a comment with your thoughts.

They seem to be losing dealers in Canada. I think there's only 6 or 7 left
@MainvilleATV2 жыл бұрын
They certainly came in strong. I'll definitely give them credit coming into a long standing domination from other brands. Won't be easy and I think dealer network and improvements to the line up over the next 5 to 10 years will determine everything. I'll always welcome more competition! Hope the hybrid hits soon.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd2 жыл бұрын
I totally agree. Competition is always good for the industry and the consumers. It’s not easy coming into such an established market at such a competitive time. Especially when you factor in how heavy brand bias is in our industry. Time will tell.

My dad bought one 3 months ago and so far loves it, he bought the x model so it comes with the big screen and bead lock wheels, it can do over 200km on a tank of gas and very smooth ride, he has also modified a few things to the fugleman to improve it and Segway Canada has been taking notes to help with the future machines to fix a few small issues
@AdrenalineJunkieProd2 жыл бұрын
Nice, glad he's enjoying it so far! It seems like a platform with some potential for sure. Any new machine will have some growing pains. It will be interesting to see where Segway Powersports takes things in the next 2-5 years.

How’s it holding up?
@FOGELL_TheGreat11 ай бұрын
@@graesonoliver9224 it’s still running but ran into some issues , his hanger bearing started making noise and unfortunately the intakes warped from the heat of the engine and cause the engine to suck in dirt, when we pulled them off it looked like the valves got sand blasted so now we are waiting for it to go to the dealer so they can perform a leak down test and determine if there was damage to the engine which most likely is , but the dealer is taking there time cause it’s “ snowmobile season” and can’t take a look at it rn so will have to wait and see besides that it’s held up good

I actually like the looks of the utv. Almost bought one before they were out on the market. I couldn't wait any longer, I needed a machine. Went and got a Zforce. It was a good decision because I discovered I'd rather ride trails instead of a work horse. The Fugleman would be awesome for snow plowing my long driveway. You're right when you say it looks cool dirty!
@AdrenalineJunkieProd2 жыл бұрын
Ya, it's a pretty decent lookin machine. I think with some doors and a few other tweaks it could look really sharp. It's definitely directed slightly more towards utility in my opinon but it's still sporty enough that you can have a lot of fun with it. Driving it reminds me of a first generation commander that's a little more refined. I like how the rear end has that pickup truck look.

My concern with brands like these is getting parts in the future, the brand may not be around 5-10 years down the road like the big names.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Жыл бұрын
I agree and I think this is a major concern for most. In this case though, Segway is a massive name and a big brand. I doubt they would have entered this market space if they didn’t plan to stick around. I don’t think they will leave. It will be interesting to see how quickly they grow and what moves they make in the future. People said similar about CFMOTO and they constitute to grow in market share. They have shown good improvement over the years with parts availability and aftermarket support.

Hey Russell, I agree with Chad. Best thing you can do is try and get out for a ride in both or at least go check some out and see how they feel.
