Segway Wheelchair Review - So Sad to see it go! E:30

I'm so sad to see this magnificient wheelchair go. Although, it's been my experience that people with many different levels of ability are able to benefit from using the Segway Wheelchair, it no longer works for me. I need to keep one leg stretched out and I am not comfortable with using the wheelchair this way. Before that happened I found that I became 'one' with the Segway Wheelchair very quickly. Now the adventure will continue for someone else.
Today we have a review of the Segway Wheelchair, based on the X2 Segway rugged platform with an AddSeat. It's for sale along with a Bruno lift that was used in my 2019 Ford Ranger. I give my top 3 likes and top 3 dislikes.

Hello Everyone and welcome to Adventures with Indy and Jane! "AWIJ"
This is a channel that is of interest to people who like Adventures, whether it's with their RV, Dog, or in a wheelchair. It's for those of you interested in how much it costs for trips and RV ownership including maintenance and breakdowns. You'll follow Indiana Bones aka "Indy" and me on our many Adventures at the Deaf Camp, where we Adventure part time when we're not traveling (and there isn't another COVID wave). Where my limited mobility isn't an issue as we travel in Big Yellow (a battle scared 2014 Can Am, Commander 800xt) to Adventure around the Deaf Camp, trails and waterfalls.
I'm a proud CODA (child of Deaf adults) and will be signing many of the intros I want to be as inclusive as we can. AWIJ will also have interviews with Deaf professionals around different topics that will be of interest to many folks.
AWIJ will also explore various mobility aids and how it can help some of us continue to RV travel whether it's in a motorhome, 5th wheel, van or a trailer. We'll talk about tow vehicles and methods of towing behind a motorhome. We will also address the challenge of bringing our mobility aids with us while we adventure.
Upcoming videos will contain reviews of my various wheelchairs including my Segway, Mobility wheelchairs and the Whill artificial intelligence chair.
The things I talk about are what works for me. It may or may not help you. You will have to decide for yourself what will work for you. Just because it works or doesn't work for me, doesn't mean you'll have the same experience. It's information that is offered, based on my experience. You have to collect your own information and make decisions based on your needs. The decisions you make to accept some, all or none of the information that are offered are yours alone to make.

The Segway part has sold but the chair part is still available. There are still a number of Segways on the used market.

@@vagabundood the investment can be $5,000 up to $20,000 depending if you can find a new Segway and how much the seat costs. Please note that anyone using a Segway or a Segway wheelchair has to have core strength, the ability to balance while riding and to bend forward and backwards to name a few. Also check out "Not a wheelchair" in Utah. They have a child friendly version of their Rig. I have the adult version of The Rig for RV traveling. The best I’ve seen and have is the TerrainHopper, from Arizona
