Нормальный прораб не допустит такой кладки без вертикальных швов. Сифонить будет будьте любезны.

нууу так себе прораб, есть прописанная технология производителя, надо делать как там указано, я сам удивился кода в обучающем видео Кнауфа по кладке газосиликата, вертикальные швы не заполнялись, а если после отделки фасада и внутренней отделки будет сифонить, то это точно не из-за незаполненных вертикальных швов, а скорее неправильного решения вентфасада, или неправильной приклейки плит утеплителя, при нормальном фасаде ничего дуть не будет.

I can see how this idea would seem appealing to some people,but I am definitely not convinced. The most obvious problem to my eyes,is that none of the blocks are "bedded in". Just my observation! Best wishes.

For those remarking on why he only adds mortar between horizontal layers, note that these bricks are interlocking so don't need mortar on the sides. Great idea!!

Deberían ponerle mortero a los lados para qué se agarren más, además pienso que deberia hacerlas más altas para que así agarre más mortero por dentro del bloque.

This would make block laying take so much longer then need be. This item is a homeowner special. You would use way more mortar than needed

Bricklaying is a craft when a bricklayer lays a bed joint it is feathered so as to place the block down and push the mortar joint so it potrudes on either side of block layed.The mortar joint becomes full and is easier to point it.

Someone has already ‘invented’ this and it’s known as The Bricky, which is commercially available. Obviously neither for professionals, but good help for people not so skilled.

Ну, если кирпичи пустотелые, то можно вертикальные стыки не склеивать. Так и на окнах можно экономить. Вентилируемый фасад получился.

У меня знакомый продал коттедж.Из блоков обложен фаготом под рейку.Продувается весь дом.Замучился обои приклеивать.Отпадают нахрен.А утеплять снаружи не захотел.Очень красивая кладка.😜

Worth making one, and you can use threaded studs so you can narrow the bars for laying Bricks.

А вертикальные швы не замазал почему? Это для вентиляции? Работник года. Так можно и без раствора вообще сложить, а потом заштукатурят и будет держаться

I have to say it. That's NOT the way it's done. You have to make adjustments in height ant length. No footer is perfect, and no mortar buttered on the heads is just wrong. I'd fire the so called mason that would do that. 45 years I've been doing it.

Interesting way of doing it. But there's no buttering on the side so you have air leaks. I've worked with brick like this before it's super light

So many negative comments, First there is no waste cement going on the floor, it's level, it's clean, you don't need to cement the end of the blocks they have a key to hole them, the wall will be rendered later. Would be nice to see the doubters challenge him to build a wall as fast.

Glad he wasted 5-6 inches of mortar in the middle of each run and none on the floor. Who cares that it takes him 2 - 3 times longer to lay block. There is less mess to clean up. He does have great grout lines.

Looks good, however this type of wall construction is not designed for earthquake s, not reinforcement. It is easy because no vert rebars on the way of the guide that slide.

This mortar leveling tool is probably an improvement in comparison to uneven 3 to 5 cm thick mortar beds between concrete blocks I have seen in some countries. - Where I live practicing “masons” are usually without formal training and it is common to see much more poorly build concrete hollow block walls than in this video. Nevertheless this side wall located below the adjacent ground level looks like it might be backfilled with soil which it could not sufficiently hold. The concrete blocks should be wetted and there should be mortar on the sides. Structurally the wall should be reinforced with steel bars. Much of the Middle-East is prone to earthquakes, which could make this wall particularly dangerous.

No brickie in the U.K. has ever used such a thing. Strictly for amateurs. Here in the U.K. brickies can work faster free hand as they take an apprenticeship of 3-5 years.

I'm also wondering what's the use of the vertical holes in the block if you can not put cement and rebars in it. The interlocking end joint is not enough to hold them together in case of an earthquake. Just an observation.

Aside from the lack of mortar between vertical ends of the blocks, that mortar looks more pea gravel and not too much mortar! I do like the tool, however. I can see modifying it for my purposes.

IF THERE IS NO CEMENT BETWEEN THE VERTICAL JOINTS OF THE BRICKS, THE RESULTING WALL WILL BE FRAGILE. NOT FOR A LOT OF RUNNING YOU GET FURTHER. IN MY OPINION, THAT'S AN ERROR. 🤨

What you going to do if you need to grind or pick up? Not all blocks are the same size, plus you doing that your are weaking the wall from lack of suction. You're literally just placing the blocks on a slab of mortar.
