Those two...they tell each other "I like you". Richard said to Seigi "I love you from the first time we met". In London, Seigi is qualified to marry Richard. 💗💗💗💗 So that the 'diamond' will be inherent to Richard. Seigi really chased Richard in London. 🤧🤧 I still can remember how Seigi said these lines "Why didn't you said goodbye? My heart feels like there's a hole." He told these to Richard when they met again (In a hotel though cuz Seigi caught a sudden cold when they are about to go to the airport). Anyway, it's getting interesting at Episode 5 and above. In episode 7 (or 8), they confess. Richard even told Seigi that he shouldn't regret that Seigi likes Richard.

For example, in Yuri On Ice the main couple is a gay couple but that anime is a skating sports anime and skating is what it focuses on, so YOI is NOT a BL since it focuses on skating and not the lives of the main couple. In the same way in Attack on Titan Ymir and Historia are strongly hinted as a lesbian couple but the anime focuses on the war against titans so it is NOT a yuri anime. As long as the anime's main focus is something else the pairings within it will not define it's genre. Understand?

Unfortunately, the anime has made significant changes to the original novel. The anime is stripped of Richard's rich emotions and cuteness, Seigi's sincerity and his strong love for Richard. The original is not Yaoi or Boys Love, but they cherish and love each other deeply. And they are on good terms with each other's family. I sincerely hope that this book will be published in English and that people from other countries will be able to experience the wonders of this work! The manga version is faithful to the original. The original has been released up to 10 volumes, and I seriously believe in getting married in the final volume.
