Who agrees that Seiko needs to write more originals for their newer collector’s editions?

I got my hands on one of these (the special collector’s addition one) from a Buy Wander auction for 20 bucks. The best house decor purchase I’ve ever made

It's got the same melody as the QHM002S model!

Thank you for your comment. Yes it is! They reused the original melodies (which was used on QHM001K & QHM002S) with new arrangement and apply it into their some newer Melodies in Motions, such as QXM382BRH, QXM384B, and QXM385N. Other clocks which using the new version of the original melodies are CQ222P (Seiko - Sanrio Characters) and FW588B (Seiko - Disney Time), which they are available only for Japanese Domestic Market.

@@bucinseikoIt actually is also on QXM386BRH, QXM387GRH, QXM390BRH, QXM391BRH, QXM392BRH and QXM397SRH. Even though the original melodies are not in the list, you can still access them through a bunch of steps.

There is a video on how to do that though.

Most modern Seiko MiM series of clocks use a hi-fi PCM soundchip since the 2000s. In the early 2000s, it uses the 4-channel hi-fi Seiko NPC SM1350 series of soundchip. Then, in the late 2000s until nowadays (especially the one in this video), uses a proprietary 32/64-channel hi-fi soundchip, although the info about the chip is unknown...

UPDATE: Actually it's 16-channel/poly, not 32/64!
