I bought same watch in Japan 2 years ago...accurate, great looking, very comfortable watch. Was told that titanium vs ss was responsible for the clumsy bracelet design. I agree ... Omega can feel sharp at times. Grand Seiko high beat, ss,40m, I bought (second hand) on same trip, is a joy to wear...I wish I was wealthy enough to have one as my beater watch! Love the sound affects

I did what you suggested, I am no collector but appreciate the design and engineering of watches. Just received my Shogun today. Had to order sight unseen as i'm in Northern Ireland, but very happy! Thanks for your take on this watch.

Enjoying your review, particularly after my purchase a few hours ago in Tokyo (just under 80,00yen) and it feels perfect on my wrist and looks just great, it totally suits me. Nice positive review and i completely agree with you, it's like you are reading my mind. It's my 2nd Seiko i now own.

Yup, I am weak, ordered that glorious watch today, Thx for your review, I love classic divers styling. Would be great to get this same watch with a sapphire crystal.

If you do switch one day to a sapphire crystal, please make a video of it. Quite a lot of options out there (sources, coating, dome, etc) so a little confusing. I'm not a watch guru, but really appreciate them. When I was growing up I had 3 Seikos, Sports 100 and 150 I think they were, all divers, was a long time ago though. I don't own any fancy or expensive watches, so really looking forward to my I suppose mid range Shogun. I buy a watch and wear it and never take it off. Be that dirt bike riding surfing diving or anything. I wear it all the time. Please don't laugh but my last watch was a (cough) Rip Curl dive watch that lasted me since 2001, it ran like an Omega and only lost a second or 2 a month. Loved that watch. Was stolen in a house robbery though as I bought a Garmin gadget and was testing it out so the watch was on my desk. I will probably wait a bit and just enjoy the watch for what it is, but have seen a few nice video's with the sapphire mod. Thanks for your videos Thanks.

Great review of this beautiful Seiko watch & it's so comfortable like you say , it just disappears on the wrist and wears more like a 42mm watch (I measured the bezel at 42mm with my Caliper gauge) Seiko spec is 43.5mm overall I think. I've had my Seiko Shogun SBDC007 a few years now and it is still in pristine condition as my daily wearer. Congrats on the GS Snowflake it's beautiful, I love Titanium & I might get the GS SBGA031 in the future. keep up with the watch review 's very interesting, thank you 👍🏻

One negative of the Shogun 'package' is the rubber strap that comes with it. It's rubbish and cheap. While it completely defeats the purpose to use the supplied rubber strap with a Titanium watch and bracelet which is what you pay for, the inclusion of this sub standard rubber strap in my honest opinion is really cheap, bordering on an insult for a watch of this price. Maybe it is just me, but I was expecting a little better. Shogun is awesome, no fault it's great!! Seiko can keep that rubber strap though. Beautiful watch on the stock titanium bracelet. Very happy with it.
