What's the best dial you've ever seen? For me, this Seiko SRPF41 is in the running. I'm surprised this one isn't more popular than it is. The dial is stunning, and the overall dimensions and design is crowd-pleasing. I guess green isn't for everyone. Have a great weekend, everyone.

100% the best dial. period. Even though GS have higher quality dials. but in terms of pure design aesthetic, this the best one yet. And it's so natural and not over the top. Easy to wear

Absolutely, I do agree that it's subtle enough to look nice, without looking too funky. From even a foot away, you can barely tell the texture is there. As you get closer, the details suck you in, and become more obvious.

I bought this watch for about £50 above retail. I think as a dress watch the 4r35 is great. I’m not going to wear it every day, why do I need great accuracy? If I wear it for 6 hours, it’ll deviate about a second or two. I’d rather the movement be cheaper, and the details on the dial, finishing and hands be of higher quality for something like this. Only thing I will say is you need the outfit to match, especially with the green strap. I’ve been tempted several times to just be done with it and buy a more neutral leather strap.

I have this watch, absolutely love it. The case is pretty plain and I wish it had sapphire crystal, but the dial out in the sunlight is incredible. Quick story, I had been looking at this on the seiko boutique website in the lead up to its release, I was in love with it but couldn't afford the pre order. Then a chain jewelry store had a "25% off all seiko" sale, and for some reason this sale included pre-orders. So I went ahead and ordered it, only to receive an email on release day that said "we overestimated our stock and cannot fulfill your order, but we are working hard to find your watch from another retailer". About 2 weeks after that, they messaged me saying they had secured one and sent it right away. It was sold out everywhere by then so I think they may of had to pay more for it than I did 😂 I have bought from them again as a result of the experience though.
