SEIKO SNK361 Watch Unboxing Seiko 5 Automatic HD

Unboxing my new Seiko SNK361 with 7s26 automatic movement. The dual-language wheel is English/Spanish. To set the time, pull the crown to the second notch and turn. Day/date is at the first notch, as shown in the video. Case diameter is approximately 37mm.
Variations of this watch case include SNK355, SNK363, SNK366, SNK 369, SNK365, SNK393, etc. SNKL53 and SNKL41are also very similar, if not the same case. Gold tone cases and crowns are amongst the variations. The Seiko 5 line is excellent for tinkering with and modding. Very reliable and affordable.

Some sellers, especially those overseas in Hong Kong and Singapore, seem to ship these without cases. Perhaps to save on postage. I've never had a problem with authenticity or condition but buy with caution. If you want a box, do confirm with the seller.

Thanks for the video. Please never change the date between 10pm and 3am on any mechanical watch - it can hurt the watch. I like the dial and case shape of this watch - I think I might get one.

Yes, good tip! Threw all caution out of the window to show the day/date wheels... I think the case looks better on a bracelet because of the lug size. Takes a while to get used to on a leather strap but almost gives a nice vintage sport look to it. Do you plan any mods? Hope the watch works out for you!

You shouldn't change the date between 9 and 3 hrs. Machinery can be damaged.

I have the same watch, but I’m confused by the lug width. The thing is I want to buy a replacement strap for it. the specs say its 21.2 mm. So which size should I choose?

the bands themselves are 21.2mm just beyond the lugs, but the lug to lug width is usually 18mm.

How long have you been wearing it? It takes some time of wear to keep it running way after you take it off.

To be sure it’s still working, you can wind it by shaking the watch for 30 seconds.
