The pricing in this Willard range is really hard to understand for me, they go from 1.100 to more than 4.000 depending on the model, I do not get it.

It’s the movement, the 049 is an undecorated grand Seiko movement, the same movement in the marine master. The 049 is also made at the grand Seiko plant by the watchmakers who put together grand Seikos. It’s on another level of watch making.

the sla049 is limited to 500 units.. edit 1200, it is the sla063 that is 500 units.
