Great review Rob. Thanks. I have way too many Seiko divers. Swore I wouldn't buy another. Well.....I bought this one JDM from Japan. Not half a click off. It is a stunning diver! The lume color on the black watch is crazy. I work outdoors in agriculture. Outside, even in the sun the lume is eye catching. It is a very different look. Home run!

I have Samurai with the Manta Ray dial i used to dive off the coast of Belize and saw a bunch of them so I got sucked in with the dial , this looks really cool also 👍

I got a killer deal on the JDM version. When they announced these as special editions, they were hard to find for the first few weeks and people were asking for a premium. I’m glad i waited and was able to get one under retail and numbered 0080/8000

This looks really cool and distinctive especially the lume. I think it's kinda difficult to get this as it's limited edition (sort of 😅 ) and very popular. I think this is part of the so called Night Vision Series.

I’ ce owned the SKX, a couple of Turtles, and a couple of Sumo’s. I’ve switched to G-Shocks and was not really looking at Seiko anymore. But this Samurai is pretty cool, it could find its way into my collection!

I was able to get one for $514 from Ali Adams Jewelers. I called as they were sold out online and was able to pre-order there 2nd batch I suppose. Now it's back in stock on there website at full retail. Great looking watch, when lume is charged. It's Iike a mini flash light lol. Wore it to work and co-workers were getting 2nd looks at it, but won't ask about it lol...

i have the srpe35 and the only difference is the dial and lume with all black . though I love the look of this, samurai is a bulkier watch to wear whole day. the turtle on the other hand fits most hand sizes. I would love to own one if I stumble on one soon.

That’s not a dumb question. It’s quite astute. Without knowing exactly where, the K denotes the country it was made in. A lot of times these watches are produced in a few different countries with iterations from certain countries more desirable than others because of better production/quality.

Great review, thanks Just picked up one of these for 413 uk sterling, i got 2305. Absolutely gorgeous. Strap is the usual seiko samurai, excellent quality. I don't mind the size or material of the buckle but the fact that it's raised so much means it will catch. Anyway it's real purrdy. I love it. If you're eyeing up one of these just go for it.
