Four years ago you could buy a Tuna for $995 w/bracelet. Today, it will cost $1,500 on a $10 rubber strap. Only difference is sapphire crystal; it still uses the same quartz movement. Seiko, WTF?

true. However, in my opinion, the hands in the older sbbn03x models are extremely hideous. I've been recently trying the solar tunas: great size, great movement, great weight, etc etc. Will do a clip soon on the solar tunas. Thanks for watching friend!

@@plasticindices3385 I like the older metal hands too, but the new ones look like they are made of some odd material... plus the seconds hand base is painted black... looks like they went to the junk bin and grabbed what was available. In the 1000m Tunas, the seconds hand matches.

Tomorrow I will get sbbn049 / s23633j , I have H601-5481 for 26 years, it's time to another watch, I'll buy a rubber just incase I won't like the steel bracelet. Shalom to everyone!!!

the best looking hands and dial are on the sbbn007 imo. they look so much more unique and classy. Also the prospex logo looks cheap.

On the watch, the crown does not look centered and appears as if it's close to touching the shroud. Is that a QC issue?

My copy feels solid and quite balanced indeed. It might be a QC issue. Seiko is known gor these quirks. Regards

@@shungarch4937A bit late replying but my Sbbn045 has a rattle and my colleague has the same watch and his watch rattles. It’s the chapter ring which is rattling between the crystal and the dial. It doesn’t affect the watch.
