The king looks like it has a ceramic bezel, the SRPE93 looks like its an aluminum bezel, that plus the sapphire makes a big difference for a lot of people.

The bezel itself looks much sharper on the king, better than the cheaper turtle which has a very similar bezel to the SKX/SRPD

I've owned a King Turtle for about a month. I love it. Some people don't appreciate the chocolate bar, but it means that you can clearly see the day / date at a glance. It also feels comfortable and well balanced on the wrist. The silicone strap helps. I also bought a citizen promaster last week and side by side, the seiko is the better watch.

Both watches are amazing! Even though regular srpe93 turtle has hardlex glass, hardlex is less scratch resistant, but at the same time more braking resistant, which sometimes comes more handy, especially if you are a real diver. On the other hand, granade/waffle grand turtle is super cool!

Got the exact same King Turtle ,Great watch, it's an amazing diver love how it sit on the wrist ,ive taken it to 27m depth and its still clear to read ,its got a quick set function for. Day date setting

I have the Seiko SRPE03 Black Waffle Dail King Turtle, it is amazing!!! I absolutely love this watch and has a good rate on the timegrapher. If you don't have one, you better get one.

I have the turtle and modded it with a MM style bezel, MM second hand, ceramic bezel insert, and domed sapphire AR coated crystal and it’s perfect! At least for me. I love the king Turtle, but I’d rather mod it for my taste and save the money

Nice watch.... I got a black dial too SRPE03J it comes with a bracelet st.steel, but I changed it to a black silicon rubber strap, pretty nice.

Correct. The black is hardlex and the king is sapphire with cyclops.

When my King Turtle came in the mail Instantly returned it. The gap between the bezel and crystal was a deal breaker for me. Absolute fail
