Seinfeld still my favourite sitcom all 4 main actors are super funny but George played by Jason Alexander is 1st class actor after season 4-5 Seinfeld really is at its best!

Schvitz = sauna or steam bath It's the Yiddish word for "sweat".

Ironic how family gatherings can end up like Festivus (minus the pole) unintentionally. One of the things that made Seinfeld so great was its magnifying glass on the subtleties of human dynamics going awry.
@inbedwithmovies32282 жыл бұрын
Yes, you're right. The only thing that bothers me about Seinfeld is that (from the few episodes I have now seen) the characters don't seem to have any growth throughout. They aren't nice people at the beginning or at the end.

@@inbedwithmovies3228 This was actually explicitly planned from the start! The show's creators' mantra was "No hugging, no learning." No worries if that's not to your taste, but it was very intentional!

This is one of my favorite episodes of Seinfeld. Something about the way Frank Costanza says, "Stop cryin' and fight your father!" always cracks me up. The show all around is great, but the first four seasons have an extra something about them! :)

Regarding the woman who confronts Jerry about "cheating," the problem is that she is "two faced." Not two faced in the sense that she is duplicitous, but two faced in the sense that she looks very different under different lighting. One pretty face, one not so pretty face.

Great reaction. The funniest episodes of Seinfeld start with season 3 and basically the show gets better and better from there, up until Larry David left the show as the lead writer which was (I think) season 9. Kramer and Newman are my absolute favourites.

This was an actual holiday in a home of one of the writers, believe it or not. “What’s a schvitz?” I’ve learned a lot of Jewish culture/language from this show. Lol

I don't like Festivus. The "Airing Of Grievances" is counterproductive and stupid. It's funny in the context of this insanely funny show, but it shouldn't be taken seriously. I think Seinfeld is on Netflix. You should totally do a reaction of the show if you can.
@inbedwithmovies32282 жыл бұрын
I agree - but I can actually see it being done in some families. Totally not the way to go though. I will do some more Seinfeld reactions but I won't be reacting to the whole series. Do you have any requests for episodes to react to?
