Hi, I’m glad you mentioned the ingredients as I’m looking for something that’s good for my skin rather than makeup that has 50+ ingredients in them. So would you consider Seint as a non toxic makeup and safe to use long term? 🙂

Hi Katie! Yes, I do. All of the ingredients score a low rating on the EWG website as well. I love that the ingredients are simple, and have a low chance of causing a skin reaction. One of the main ingredients that I mentioned in this video, petrolatum, is a staple ingredient even in medical salves. I think this ingredient (among many others that are not even toxic!) is falsely vilified by so called “green washing” companies in order to sell their own products they claim are “non toxic”. Also, the fact that this makeup is an occlusive (meaning that it does not sink into the pores, but lays on top of the surface of the skin, like a salve) actually helps improve the skin’s barrier, which is important for keeping the skin hydrated and balanced 😊
