This is so HOT!!! Sadistic Mika Band is a legendary Japanese band, and as you can plainly see in this video, their live shows are pure class. Thanks for posting this piece.
Even though I prefer Mika to Karen, this is truly a fantastic track. Go Karen. :D

〇History of the band: "Sadistic Mika Band" (1971) ・November 1971 "Sadistic Mika Band" formed in Japan.(Kazuhiko Kato was Bandmaster) (1973) ・May 5, 1973, the first album "Sadistic Mika Band" was released in Japan. By Toshiba EMI. (1974) ・June 1974: Mika Band's 1st album release in Europe by Harvest UK. ・1974: British music producer Chris Thomas (sound supervisor of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (1973)) approached to produce Mika Band's album, and invited him to Japan to produce their second album. ・November 1974: 2nd album "Black Ship" released in Japan. (1975) ・April 1975 :"Black Ship" released by Harvest UK in the UK and USA. ・Chris Thomas came to Japan and he produced their 3rd album "Hot! Menu". ・October 1975 3rd album "Hot! Menu" released simultaneously in the UK and Japan. ・October 1975: as a promotion of 3rd "Hot! Menu", accompanied with Roxy Music, Mika Band went to UK and toured UK for the first time. ・November 1975: the Mika Band “suddenly” announces disbandment, After returning from the UK tour. And all of Live scheduled in Japan have been cancelled. Mika did not return to Japan and remained in UK. (1976) ・The following year1976, four tour members, excluding front man Mr. and Mrs. Kato, changed their name to "SADISTICS" and resumed their activities. ・On July 5, 1976, "Live in LONDON" was released by Toshiba EMI as a record of the UK tour. (Compiled from the recordings at Wembley Empire Pool in Londonon October 18, 1975, etc.). ・July 1976: Guitarist TAKANAKA released his first solo album "Seychelles". (Japan only). ・In 1976, Kazuhiko Kato released the single "Singapura" and resumed his solo activities. The following year, he remarried to Kazumi Yasui, who wrote the lyrics to this song, (1977) ・June 1977: "SADISTICS" debut 1st album released in Japan (Japan only) ・In 1977, on keyboards You Imai released his first solo album "A Cool Evening". (1978) ・SADISTICS released their second album and a live album, and then went on “hiatus”. ・In 1978, Yellow Magic Orchestra was formed, and Yukihiro Takahashi joined as a drummer. ・The first Yellow Magic Orchestra album was released on November 25, 1978 from Alpha Records Japan. (The following year, an American version was released by A&M.) (1979) ・On December 1, 1979, Masayoshi Takanaka released his 5th album "JOLLY JIVE". "BLUE LAGOON," one of TAKANAKA's most popular songs, was a huge hit, and his popularity as a solo fusion guitarist exploded in Japan in the 80s. (1989). ・Tsugitoshi Goto has opened his eyes as a composer and arranger rather than a bassist, and has contributed countless songs to many singers. Since he joined forces with " Yasushi Akimoto " to produce the idol group "Onyanko Club". In particular, he composed "MUGO n...IroPPoi" for singer Shizuka Kudo(ex Onyanko Club) in 1988, which reached No. 1 on the charts. ・On September 6, 1989 "Blown By Yellow Sand" for her, which was released. In the year, he became a hit-maker in Japan as a composer with a series of big hits that sold more than 500,000 copies, including her "One Night in Love" and "Stormy Bare Faces". ※ MIKA BAND reunited twice with another woman as replace Mika and put out two albums. (1989) ・April 8, 1989, the fourth Reunion Album "APPARE (Oh my gosh)" was released in Japan. ・With " Karen Kirishima " as the second female vocalist and put out a live album "SEITEN". (2006) ・October 25, 2006 they released the Reunited album 5th "NARKISSOS" (Japan only). ・The second reunion featured solo singer Kaela Kimura as the third "MIKA," and the group lost two key players when Kazuhiko Kato passed away in 2009 and Yukihiro Takahashi in 2023. In the end, Narkissos was their last album. After disbanded in 1975, with the exception of Takahashi (of YMO), the other members were only active in Japan, and most of the many works all of them produced could not be contracted to work overseas. They were ignored by the foreign media and became hidden works buried in Japan and unknown to foreigners for long time.
