Project no.127 DIY Homemade Mini Belt sander
Hello
The water pump power is 1/2hp and it has 3800rpm.
the size of the sanding belt is 20X520mm and i use skateboard wheel as rollers.
im so happy with the result of this project ,
it is small but it is also powerful.

Зачёт! Ролики размер увеличен, дольше подшипники проживут.сейчас делаю гриндер в гаражную мастерскую. Электродвигатель тоже от насоса, 1 кввал 12мм поставлю доп подшипник. Но, оборотов на этих Электродвигателях маловато, частотники поможет. Скорость ленты желательно не менее 25 метров в секунду. Удачи бро, зачёт!

I like the your idea of belt sander, but i think a longer belt, say 2x 72, would last a long time bec. it has much more grit area. How about trying to build a telescope,small refractor or reflector...quite easy, but with a little more precision and handling...basic important parts online,the rest d.i.y.
