I love how absolutely aggressive he is. I never really thought about it, but Genichiro was a really good rival who we fight at the beginning middle and end, each time measuring out strength as we battle for our own beliefs. The final moments of the video you can see his most relentless strings of attacks as he tries to best wolf once and for all, pushed to his very limits only to fall short.

genichiro throwing away the lightning was such an amazing touch i thought it was a mistake but its really smart when you think of it.

Otherwise they just look like they keep jumping and throwing it at each other also was curious if genichiro gets hit by it if sakura dance is used instead
@blank94332 жыл бұрын
Yeah best thing to do for him, since he would eventually get hit if he keeps playing that game with wolf! Even though he's actually doing chip damage to wolf, so not getting hit by his lightning is so smart, he's only getting wolf's health down with no negative effect on him, this is definitely genichiro's ultimate form
@pain0022 жыл бұрын
First mod I saw so far that actually changes wolf's attack pattern as well. His attack chain seems more efficient especially the last hit isnt that clumsy overhead swing anymore. Good stuff
@digimon9162 жыл бұрын
Ahhh. So ppl are modding actual moves now? Its been a while but i knew i didnt remember the moves and attacks (from both characters) looking like this.
@ramithair28462 жыл бұрын
@@digimon916 That's the point off the "Ultimate" in ultimate genichiro or ultimate isshin. It is reshuffling of the moves they used in the campaign and in the gauntlet " inner recollection" and producing a new moveset hybrid that is way harder to deal with and way more aggressive. The moves wolf uses are ll in the original. With some effects like recovering emblems while fighting. Jut for a cooler fight.

Omfg that 3rd phase was breathtaking, specially from 3:10 - 3:37, that was absolutely insane. It doesn't even feel like a video game boss anymore, it's like Genichiro is literally giving his best and not giving you any window to do anything, I feel like that would have been the fight if it was in real life.

Once upon a time, I watched the regular Genichiro fight on KZbin before I touched the game. Watching, I was both stunned and confused. I could see what was happening, and yet there were layers of skill that I couldn't quite grasp. Cut to now, 8 months after finishing the game with Sword-Saint Isshin and that feeling returns. I know what's happening, yet I can tell... there are layers of skill I can't even appreciate.

I really like how he named this video "Genichiro breaks his limits" He wasn't born special. His mom died during the war and isshin picked him up. Wanting nothing more in his life then to repay his debt he trained hard to become one of the most respected swordsmen. Still, he hit his mortal limits and made himself to drink the shit that is divine water. Not being enough the dude decided to train himself the lightning techniques but he was not as gifted as isshin or tomoe who can just summon it at whim. He burned his whole body and probably killed himself with it multiple times over. And then in the end he is still nothing but bump in the road compared to the "talented ones". When the owl goes for the sword he casually murders him and takes his head. When you go for him, he's so overwhelmed that he accepts that he was born average and slices his throat to see his debt repaid. This is a Reddit post that I think every Sekiro fan should read.

Well fought brother I have just started the game , because I wanted to like souls type games , Believe me have also tried dark souls and Elden Ring but I left them un completed , I think I am going wrong in patience which I am learning from Sekiro , this game has a fantastic fight dynamic and such a unique one , it is not one of the games where you have to hit an enemy till there life goes to zero , rather you have to break their posture by using perfect combination of dodge , counter and hit in the opening, perfect for a samurai theme , I remember Aragami was also like that not exactly but enemy used to block you so you had to parry and then kill
