@Lily I am glad you visited the western regional capital Sekondi/Takoradi. The western region is arguably the most beautiful and the richest, it has the most beautiful landscape ( an architect’s dream) , water, fish ,wood and minerals resources including petrol . It is home to Ghana’s second seaport. The western region has a fantastic economic future. Our government can do more to unleash Ghana’s tourism potentials. Sekondi and Takoradi are called twin-city: two towns joined together as one city... though Sekondi is the oldest town with a lot of history, Takoradi is the business hub of the whole Western Region

Yes sekondi. Where I grew up. Very beautiful town. With it's hills, valleys, greenery, sea, colonial type buildings etc. A very touristy but sleepy town that should be properly cleaned up and developed for tourism etc

Sekondi is The Regional Capital City Of The Western Region many thinks The Regional Capital is Takoradi but it is not. I grew up in Sekondi 2nd street in All Stars. I left Sekondi for The MSP another Twins City Minneapolis/St.Paul in The USA many years ago. I’m glad to see my home town again. Thank you

I remembered in the early 60s during the school holidays, I have three places to spend it. I traveled with my mother to either visit my uncle who has a drinking bar and taxi business in Sekondi or I go to my father's cousin who runs a big store in Takoradi or I traveled to Awaso, where my father worked with the British Aluminum Company. I am from Cape Coast and this has brought memories to me. Thanks.

What makes Sekondi sensational is right from the beach ⛱️ about 10 kilometer away you can find/Enter one of the Deepest Forest on the other side of The Town😅😊😂❤❤
