I have been taking sekou's class at peridance for 4 months now and he has changed my view on dance completely. I like his class because he doesnt speak, it's so meditative My respect grew when there was a woman making a video in the studio, he stopped the class and told her that it is disrespectful to his space. We have come to an era where digital is highly used in the dance classes but sekou is here to teach you Realness and healing Peace and love 🎉

I had the privilege of meeting, performing, and even Sparring with Sekou back in 2002, when we both became cast members of the Off Broadway show "Voice Of The Dragon" which was a Chinese Martial Arts based Stage Show set to live Jazz music.I moved from my home in DC to NYC as a New cast member, met Sekou along with 12 other Martial Artist, lived in the Bronx, rehearsed at City Center, 4 Days a week , 4 Hours each Day, then left in February 2003 for a 15 State, 33 Cities, 43 Shows Tour. I got to know Sekou as Hard Working performer with a Strong Filipino/Brazilian martial arts background. Later I, along with the rest of the cast learned of his House Dance background, which I was also into. I last saw him just before the Pandemic in October of 2019, along with the dance duo Les Twins. I cannot tell you how Proud I am of this Bratha and all that he's accomplished!!! So Happy For this Kat‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥

Bas Noir! Some of burrell bros greatest stuff! RIP Voodoo! Need more views! Ha, the World! Loved that club! That's a great story, i had a similar experience at the World too, hilarious. Funny back then the black college kids were into house, i thought that you graduated from high school, you also graduated into house. All the college kids i knew were house heads, and some of my high school friends who were more mature were also house heads... so i just figured that was what you did lol
