Sekrenyi Festival of Angami Nagas | Mini Hornbill Festival | Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister, Nagaland

The traditional Sekrenyi festival of the Angami Nagas was celebrated on Feb. 25, 2022, at Kisama Heritage Village where Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister, Nagaland was the special guest of the grand occasion.
Unlike other years, it was celebrated through a solemn function which coincided with Mini-Hornbill festival scheduled for two days, the latter day of cultural events to be hosted at Touphema Tourist Village under Kohima district.

The festival has reported to be celebrated in a rather simple and solemn way this year because of the forthcoming 50th jubilee celebration of Angami Public Organisation.
