The cleanliness of the sugarhouse and sugarbush made me envious. Just had 18” of snow dump on us in the NEK of VT. Next several weeks look prime for sugaring. Great video.

Located in Canaan, VT along the NH border. I’m off-grid at 1,700 feet on the side of a mountain. Everything flows to the sugarhouse. About 9,500 taps.

Hello from Siesta Key Florida I remember a field trip in 1969 to Chardon Ohio. To the sugar house in the middle of town. Is that old building still there ? If I remember the building was built in 1926 to boil the maple syrup down. They gave us a sample box of candy and syrup to take home. Last time I went to the maple festival was1975 . All you can eat pancakes and sausage at the church

Enjoyed the video Nate. I enjoy seeing how other sugar houses. We pulled the taps yesterday in Perrysville. Was not a great year but we still had fun and made some good syrup.

@@BissellMapleFarm I have not, but just looked it up, nice place! That is a lot of windows for a sugarhouse. 3 years ago when we picked up some trees at St Lawrence Nursery in Potsdam, NY, we visited Solar Sweet and Georgia Mountain in Vt, and Cornell’s sugarhouse in Lake Placid. Was an awesome trip to see some great places.
